Twoogle: Google and Twitter Search

I recently came across two nice tools namely Twoogle and Twofind. Twoogle is sort of a mix of Google search and Twitter search that allows you to search for something and display results on the same screen both for Twitter search and Google search.

Twoogle is a tool which allows users to search a term on both Google and Twitter, and it will display the results in split-screen format. Although the design is questionable, you won’t have any problems if you are in front of a large widescreen monitor.

The duplex search tool will display Twitter search results on the left, and the Google search results on the right. Twoogle will also allow you to search only Twitter, or only Google if you’d like that or if you already found what you were looking for.

What’s so original in it? IMO nothing! But yet it seem fun and can save a few seconds at times to compare results. Seriously I now mostly use Twitter search for my searches due to the fast way Twitter search show results.. I mean real time results.

But at times a Google search is more useful too when we need more reliable and information that are highly related. So Browsys came up with the tool Twoogle which is infact simply using two frames to show results from Twitter and Google. You can check Twoogle here and try some search.

Now about Twofind. Twofind is somehow the same concept like Twoogle except that it allows you more option to search. for example you can search Google and Bing at the same time or even Google and Yahoo and then choose the best results yourself.

Nothing extravagant with them but simple and useful at times in my opinion. And I was wondering that the idea to make one came to my mind just last week but finally said let it as so many people must have already thought of it.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Angelina Jolie is Hollywood's top earning actress, banking $27 million in the past year to beat out her partner Brad Pitt's ex-wife Jennifer Aniston, who raked in $25 million, a Forbes.com study showed on Wednesday. Most of Jolie's income came from her share of the profits from her action film "Wanted," but she was also paid a large upfront sum for her role in "Salt," the study said.
